My WEI now is Processor - 6.9, Memory 5.9, Graphics - 4.7, Gaming Graphics - 6.2, HD - 5.9, while the lowest on the Dell is 5.2 or something for the HD. I ordered another 4gigs of ram for the K53E (that will make a total of 8gigs of DDR3 PC3-10600 in dual channel mode) to see if that will help since the ram is shared between the cpu and gpu. Morrowind looks nicer on the 9400m, but that's way too subjective since I'm the only one who has seen it on both and could simply be down to the monitors having the same resolution spread between 14' and 15.6' inches. Nothing processor heavy since the C2D will get waxed by the i5, so that makes it even tougher to really compare the graphics chips. The K53E is a 15.6' vs the Studio 14' and both are 1366x768.

My Asus K53E (new) has the HD300 with an i5-2430M 2.4 gHz (I think the Turbo is 2.9 or 3.0 gHz) but my Dell Studio 1440 (2 years old) with a 9400m and an Core 2 Duo T6500 2.1 GHz runs games just as well if not better in some cases using the Dell drivers from 2009. Its listed as only compatible with Windows 7, 8, and 8.1, but the system compatibility check when launching the driver update says your system is compatible. I don't think they update them as often either. It wont show up when you search under Windows 10 so you have to search for Windows 7. Yes, but the biggest problem for the HD3000 is Intel doesn't do drivers as well as Nvidia, not sure about Ati since I've never had one. That is, in fact, precisely the point behind on-CPU-die graphics - it's meant to compete with, and, in certain cases, displace, low-end notebook/desktop graphics. The screen is now showing colors all distorted. As far as I know it doesnt support CUDA (which is a proprietary NVidia technology), but OpenCL is supported by NVidia, ATi and Intel. Which is above quite a few discrete notebook GPUs (it waxes AMD Mobility HD5xxx, for example - which has itself crossed over to the desktop-GPU side of things). Windows 11 will run on a pentium 4 machine, beucase windows 11 is just windows 10. Intel HD Graphics is usually the on-CPU graphics chip in newer Core i3/i5/i7 processors.
